Ice cream seller earns piece of land he bought with a thousand reais in coins

Piece of land earned was bought with a thousand reais in coin. The ice cream seller Hosea Robson dos Santos, 31 years old, won a plot of land of R$ 54,000, which was purchased with an entry of R$ 1.8 thousand reais paid in coins, after spending 14 months saving. The donation was made on Saturday by the entrepreneur Erasmus Sabino, the property owner where the worker had acquired the lot.

For a year and two months, Hosea joined coins to buy the land and build his house. The deal was closed on Friday (8) and on Saturday, the “picolezeiro” (ice cream street seller), who lives of favor at the residence of a relative, was surprised by the real estate agency to win the title of the lot he had bought.

The picolezeiro uses a motorcycle to go through the neighborhoods of Boa Vista and indigenous communities in the state of Roraima. He said the work has time to start, but not to end, and notes that in locations away from the city, he is most likely to sell better.

“There’s no competition, so the idea matured and i starred to go further. There are days that I make R$ 30 and others R$ 50. The coins he received in sales, were put in a gallon and he was counting to reach a certain value to buy the land. Willpower motivated me to achieve my dream, no matter what I am,”.

Erasmus has been moved by the picolezeiro’s willpower to join every day the coins to make his wish come true, reason that led him to donate the lot.

“Brazil sympathized with this story and today [Saturday], I woke up wondering: For which reason should I do not donate the land to him? God gave me a position to have projects and a good life situation, so I decided to donate the lot because I am benefiting a good person, a humble worker,” says the imobiliário.
