One trillion in taxes paid to the government this year in Brazil!

The collection of federal, state and local taxes, paid by Brazilians reached the milestone of $ 1 trillion this Thursday, August 30, 2012, according to Impostômetro(Taxometer), system that measures in real time the collection of taxes in the country. The figure was reached 15 days before the seen in 2011, which shows that even as the economy slowed, the collection of taxes hasn’t lost its breath. According to Commercial Association of Sao Paulo, the Impostômetro should end the year with a mark of $ 1.6 trillion, a new record collection since the creation of the meter in 2005. In the first year, the system recorded the $ 750 billion.
