Gol airlines to fly regularly to the US from Brazil, and the Brazilian trio of investors attacks again in the US

Gol Airlines will begin regular flights from Brazil to Miami and Orlando, USA, with a hub in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, starting December 15, 2012. Ticket sales have already begun. The flights will be daily from Sao Paulo Guarulhos Airport, to Orlando, and Rio de Janeiro Galleao Airport, to Miami, with a stop in Santo Domingo.

Gol had started flying to the United States in June, with a frequency for Miami. The company made just five flights, all exclusive to Smiles customers.

A mega purchase
The Brazilian businessmen Jorge Paulo Lemann, Marcel Telles and Beto Sicupira prepare another billionaire shot – and again in the U.S., where the trio has already bought Anheuser Busch and Burger King. The trio raised US$ 3 billion to make a mega-acquisition. Of this total, US$ 600 million comes from the trio. The remainder was captured with people like Eike Batista and others businessmen.
