The film explores movements of open parties that are emerging in São Paulo, the largest metropolis in South America. Independent groups of various musical genres have promoted the common idea that parties can help the citizens of this city to socially connect and enjoy city areas that have been abandoned in an era of hyper-development. The documentary includes intimate scenes parties that have happened in abandoned parks, occupied buildings, streets, tunnels and marginalized areas of the state capital. From a critical point of view, suggests that these parties and their proposals help create a rejuvenating effect of public space – political, social, spatial and her attitude.
The film presents the perspective of the creators of the parties, such as Voodoohop, methanol FM, Free Beats, Venga Venga and Carlos Capslock and was raised by a single team of video producers – A semiotic New Zealand, a photographer and visual artist Brazilians.
